Sew It Forward is a skill-sharing initiative created by The Good Wardrobe. I event managed the launch at Henrietta Ludgate's workshop in Whitely's, Bayswater and a few follow-up events.

The launch was really fun. The idea was for people to bring along an item of clothing to fix. Master sewers, menders, knitters and darners were on hand to give advice where needed so you not only came away with a good-as-new garment but new skills to boot.

Squid and Pear provided exquisite canapes and people sat in huddles amidst rails of award-winning Henrietta Ludgate's clothes engrossed in their needle and thread, chatting and swapping ideas.
